Responsibility
Reliable, comprehensive, serious: Our compliance understanding
Compliance with laws and internal regulations is an inherent component of the approach and actions of all employees at OGE. We rely on a risk-oriented and preventative compliance understanding.
Compliance refers to the entirety of all the measures taken to ensure conformity with all relevant laws and provisions, as well as the alignment of corporate action with social values. For us, compliance is not merely a buzzword: Adhering to laws and internal regulations is a fundamental component of our corporate culture.
When they join the company, all employees must commit to complying with the principles of the Code of Conduct. Furthermore, we run regular e-learning programmes on the Code of Conduct and on further compliance-related themes in addition to classroom training where required.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct forms the foundation of our compliance organisation. It sets out the fundamental principles and rules for lawful and responsible action and creates a framework for dealing with business partners, competitors, officials and public institutions.
The values and stipulations set out there and in our corporate guidelines represent the benchmark for the actions of all employees.
Compliance Office
Our Compliance Office coordinates all the relevant compliance issues and activities (except for non-discrimination and antitrust law). The staff in the Compliance Office are also responsible for questions and information on compliance from market participants, suppliers or other business partners.
